We went to the Watercress Line Steam Railway in Hampshire to see Thomas and Diesel and lots of other trains.
The Worrybomb loves trains, she watches Thomas and Chuggington, she has two train sets and several of books about Thomas. Worrybomb Dad also loved the stories by the Rev W Awdry, he has most of them still, especially the one given to him by his headmaster. He was also really pleased to find out he taught in the same village that the young Wilbert Awdry had been a curate in and to find out his son was called Christopher too!
We had a great time at the railway, we rode on several trains, went on a tiny small gauge railway, saw the start of a magic show and had a lovely picnic thanks to Worrybomb Mum.
At the Alresford station Worrybomb and hwe Big Sister J had their face painted. Both sat very still!
