We went on a treasure hunt around St Katharine Docks. Using treasuretrails.co.uk/ we explored the areas around the Tower of London and the docks. It was the first time we had used the site and picked a suitably jaunt for a pirate.
We had to find clues and solve puzzles to rule out potential locations for the treasure on our map. It was a bit tricky at times and we were glad of the text help we could get. Cousin S and Worrybomb had great fun.
We stopped in the shade for lunch, admiring the boats moored up. Then back to it looking for information on plaques, signs, buildings etc. ( BTW – always readtheplaque.com/ ! ).
We found the correct location after a little work! I think we will do a few more over the summer.
