It was the 40th Hat Fair in Winchester this weekend. The weather was super and we got to see lots of acts and have a go at a few things.
We started the day watching the very funny Pina Polar. She had a great show with lots of very funny bits. Then off to the magic and juggling show where Cousin L and Worrybomb had a go at uni-cycling.
And then slackroping…
Which wasnt as easy as it looked.
Where as the stilts came very easily!
Then some aerial gymnastics with the lovely people from Aerial Southampton
THen it was time for some arial stunts with http://www.aerialsouthampton.com/
Then back out to see the very funny and wonderfully old fashioned strongman act Mighty Mike.
He juggled bowling balls,
And then sledgehammer and flaming torches.
Then lastly we snuck into the Ccamera Obscura tent. I haven’t been in one for a few years and it was so vivid and clear, it looked unreal. 3 minutes flew past !
Tony was great and explained how it worked and had a chat with the girls.
It was a great day out and it brought back some happy memories of my college days in Winchester. We will be back next year !
