Its getting a bit jet-settery here, after the recent Venice and San Giorgio di Nogaro trip, we went to see The Boys in Köln / Cologne. Not for the festival, but for the Christmas Markets. Not just one, but nine! We didnt get to them all, but with our wonderful guide we went to the best!
Of course, the first thing you do after a wonderful breakfast with all sorts of Christmassy and German things with the boys is find a chocolate and banana pancake!
We found all sorts of Christmas things, special mugs for the gluhwein, special decorations and some sneaky Christmas present purchases.
We managed to drag Worrybomb from the bubbles and see the Hohenzollern Bridge with its millions of locks.
We skated, ate, walked and had the hugest Currywurst I have seen (in the non gay gay pub). Even the plate had to be the right shape to fit it!
It was lovely to see The Boys, and to eat and drink wonderful things. Hope we will be back over there really soon.
